Gun or Taser What is your Personal Safety Worth

Gun or Taser What is your Personal Safety Worth? It’s a question that many women will ask themselves but may never take action until something happens.

It’s time to Explore your option NOW, Before you become the next victim

When it comes to Personal Safety you need to way your options. Which is more than you think but the bottom line is that an attack only has to happen one time for you to realize your life is worth more than three hundred and fifty dollars.

Woman Protecting herself

Know how to Protect yourself before an Attack

The first defensive weapon that comes to mind when someone says “safety” is a
gun. It’s a good choice for some, but there are other alternatives. The purpose of
self-defense is not to kill, cripple or disable your assailant. The purpose of self-defense
is to use a means, any means that will allow you to escape your attacker
and get to safety.

As you will see on the video this man who is teaching Kelly the facts of both a Gun and a Taser. Both items need some kind of training to use. We would be very foolish to think you could just take a gun and shoot at your target on the first try.

Identity Theft are you a Potential Victim

Identity Theft are you a Potential Victim

Identity theft is a Financial Crime. Anyone can become a victim overnight. They say you could lesson your chance of becoming a victim if you stop using your credit or debit cards. Easier said then done in this economy right.

Identity Theft – when was the last time you or someone you know has become a victim, not sure or would you rather not think about it. None of us would but one day you open your Credit Card Statement and their are charges on it that you know you have not made. That is not so bad, hey we have insurance for that, just call the credit card company and let them know. It’s that easy they tell you to send them a list of the items you did not charge and they will take care of it. Done or so you think

Image a couple of days later your bank calls and says you are 1500.00 over your account and the overdraft has been used up. Now what then a doctors office calls and tells you that your payments need to arrive before 2 weeks, Only you have not had any surgery or been to the doctor in a year since last years checkup. You start to receive all kinds of medical bills some as strange as your husband having a pap test. Now that could be funny but it is one of the first clues to Identity Theft.

Bingo you are now the Victim of Identity Theft.

It can happen before your eyes and laterally overnight. One fact is that just because you are not rich does not make you less of a victim. They want anyone they can get, Rich,Poor,Old or Young. Who ever has a Social Security number they want. Even young children can become a victim. It is said that the middle class does not look at their bills as much as the wealthy.

In the past five years more than 27 million Americans have become victims of Identity theft. Last year alone the figure was more then 9 million expected to grow this year because of the economy.

Some Tips to Prevent Identity Theft.

* Thief like things easy so make it difficult for them, So that would tell you to make things harder to get your information.
* Keep all you important information in a fireproof safe. Make sure it is locked at all times and only give the key to someone you trust.
* Ever New Years and Forth of July you should run a credit report on yourself. Pick two to three times a year that you will remember and make sure you check it. Any suspicious entry would be your first hint.
*Haven’t we all bought our parents a paper shredder but what about you did you get one also if not go and get one or bring it to Moms house. You can also burn it in the fireplace so you know no one will ever find it.
*Only give your 4 digits of your SS number when asked.
*If you are giving your personal information to a medical office of a real estate always ask about their disposable policies. Find out how they dispose of your information. you may be surprised to find out they just throw them in the garbage.
*This one really scars me. Your debit card it not protected but your charge card is. Think about that if someone steals your CC you are protected by the insurance if they steal your debit card it is like cash you have no insurance to protect. they 500 or 10,000 in the bank. I personal do not use a debit card for that reason.
*DO NOT give out personal information by phone or email unless you called them not even email you need to call them and if you get a phone solicitors and they give you the number to call back because you applied for a loan make sure you have the phone number of the bank and who you are applying to before you leave the bank.
*Make a photo copy of all your credit cards in your wallet front and back so you have the phone number to call in case you need it put in a safe place. This will make things easy if your wallet is ever stolen. When you remove a card from your wallet make sure you mark it on the photo copy.

The most important thing to remember is that if you think you are a victim of Identity theft report it as soon as possible. Don’t think its a joke do it sooner then later it
could make a big difference in the amount that is stolen. If you are a victim it could take 6 months to several years to clear you credit. So act quickly it the key.

Stay Safe – Before You Become a Victim

Stay Safe – Before You Become a Victim .You don’t need to personally be mugged to figure out that walking alone in seedy looking neighborhood at
night is a bad idea. It’s just common sense not to put yourself into a situation where something bad could happen.
But some people don’t have the experience, maturity, training or understanding to have the level of common
sense that someone like a police officer or soldier for instance, might have.
That’s where things like books, articles, lectures and talking to friends helps. The more you understand and
learn about how to stay safe – the more “common sense” you’ll develop about it.
Unfortunately too many people don’t think about personal safety until they become a victim. If you’re reading
this book then you’re serious about learning about to stay safe. Good for you! But don’t stop with one.

Stop Crime in your own life

While we know their is no way to Stop Crime in our lives their is a way to Prevent it before you become a victim, with everyday things to remember. Bruce Sergeant gives us some clear tips that we all know.

Pay attention to the tips your personal safety can be at risk anytime, anywhere in a matter of seconds. When you least expect it.

Stop Crime in America by Bruce Sergeant

Crime is running rampant in America. Our students are missing, children are disappearing, and families are killing one another. Here we will outline a few tips to help keep crime out of your life.

Be vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times. Take a few extra seconds to assess every situation. Look to see if someone is wearing a heavy coat in the middle of summer. Notice if someone or something is out of place. Make sure to always park in well lit areas. Always check around for anything suspicious in or around your car before getting in or out of it.

Be informed at all times. Listen to the news and read the paper daily. If there has been a rash of crimes committed in a certain area, you may notice this and avoid that area. Talk to friends, they may have heard something that you haven’t. Check offender websites to find out if a predator has moved into your neighborhood.

Inform others of where you are going and when you expect to return. Carry a Cell Phone, and know where the nearest police department is.

Know where your children are at all times. Check on them frequently. If they are not asking you “Why are you always checking on me?” Then maybe you aren’t checking enough. If your children are outside the home playing, call them in frequently. Ask them- Have you seen any strangers? Or has anyone been asking you strange questions? Check outside for unknown people hanging around your home. Or, any strange cars parked close to your home.

Always be aware of Identity theft. Check your bank account often. If you are using online banking, check it daily. Change your password frequently. Use at least one number, one letter, one capital letter, and one special character in all of your passwords if possible. Write “Require photo ID” in the signature block on the back of your credit cards. If you use the drop chute to deposit money into your account, go before it gets dark and bring someone with you.

Always ask for identification when someone comes to your door. IE: Utility repair people, cable Person. Keep doors and windows locked, even when you are at home. Ask a neighbor to watch your home if you are going to be away. Stop mail service and paper delivery. Change you outside lights when they blow out. Keeps gates closed. The sound of it opening may be enough to alert you. Keep a phone within reach in case you need to call 911. Remember, if you only have time to dial 911 put the phone down and protect yourself. Most area’s can locate your address just from the call. And the operator may hear the intruder to help identify them.

These tips are in no way conclusive or meant to be the only way to protect you and your family. But with a little common sense and practice you will be much safer every day.

Women Personal Safety – Prevent an Attack Fight Back or Not

Woman Personal SafetyPrevent an Attack Fight back or not This is the question you need to think about before it happens and be ready.

Many times we open the newspaper or turn on the TV to see a women who chose to fight back an attacker. This may be what you choose to do. You never really know what you would do until it really happens. What we would like to do and what happens are two different things. How many time have you said “If that were me I would have” but unless you are their you can never really say.

Triple Pack Pepper Home Office & Personal Carry all three and be ready

Triple Pack Pepper Home Office & Personal Carry all three and be ready

What is really important is that you get as much detail as you can, height, weight, skin, eyes, all help when the police show up. The more detail the better.

* Only 10 – 20% of women are assaulted by a stranger.

* Frequent place is in your own home by people you already know.

With that being said one thing to know that if you know your attacker always make sure to think I know that is really hard to do but if you think clearly and leave a artical of clothing in the car of something to let the police know that you were in his home or car.

What is your best Chance of Survive?

If someone had a gun to your head and told you to get into the car what would you do? Yes thinking of this you would say Yes, No but think about that unless you know how to protect yourself or some Self Defense move you may just get in the car DON”T.

* Your chance of Survival after you get in the car are not good.
* Do what ever you have to to stay where you are.
* Always Carry a Pepper Spray.
* Stay focused on walking to your car. Keep looking around like your looking for someone.
*Always walk with an attitude you are less likely to become the next victim.

If you pay attention to what is around you and walk with an attitude you are less likely to become the next victim. Attackers do not want to call attention to themselves.

It only takes a second to become a victim.

Until tomorrow Stay Safe & Secure

At what point do we stop becoming a victim?
What are you going to do to protect yourself?

I am ready to do what I have to do to protect myself today.

I just finished reading a story about 4 young boys who rob two girls 20 & 17, about 6 pm while they were getting into their car in Newburg NY. The boys opened the car doors and jumped inside, they groped the women grabbed their cellphones and pocketbooks. Then the 12 year old pulled out a knife and threatened them, lucky for them they ran off with their pocketbook, iPod, and camera.

The women did identified the boys. Get this two 14 years old one 12 year old and a 10 year old. The 12 year old still had the knife on him, the boys also took photos of themselves with the camera. Hey thanks for that otherwise they could have said they found it on the sidewalk.

Now what happens ok so they may be connected to other robberies in the area. Lets prove that and get these kids to account for their actions.

Newburg NY is not the greatest area to be in. So you have to ask yourself why they didn’t have pepper spray with them. Every Women should carry something to protect yourself. What are you waiting for to become a Victim

7 Women Safety Tips From A Woman Cop

Women Safety Tips From A Woman Cop

I read this and knew every Women, Mother, Sister, Husband should see it and give to everyone you know. This is really first had information from someone who knows. Print it out and pass it on to everyone.

Safety for Women and Men

Safety for Women and Men

Tips for women on staying safe! These are well worth passing on, and are common sense for men, too.

Please read this information from a woman who works for the police department.

I have to share some things I have learned in my job with you. In my job, I review criminal and psychiatric files of imprisoned sex offenders who are approaching their release date. I decide if they are likely to re-offend based on certain criteria and then civilly commit them to a sex offender treatment facility if I decide that they are at significant risk to re-offend.

I have read hundreds and hundreds of files, and have taken note of some of the mistakes women make. Let me preface this by saying that a woman is NEVER EVER EVER at fault for being raped or attacked, but there are definitely ways to reduce your risk of being a victim.

Here are the most common mistakes women make that could result in them getting kidnapped, attacked, and/or raped:

1. Getting into the attacker’s car when he pulls a gun and orders you to get into his vehicle. Most attackers don’t want to shoot you … they want you to get into the car so that they can drive you to a deserted place and torture you. Don’t comply. Run screaming. It is MUCH more likely than not that he will just move on to an easier target.
2. Pulling over when a man drives alongside of you pointing at your car pretending something is wrong. If this happens, drive to the nearest well-lit and populated gas station and look the car over yourself (or ask an attendant). Never pull over. Believe it or not, many women have fallen for this for fear of their car spontaneously exploding in the middle of the road. Not likely.
3. Not locking your doors while driving. I have read several cases where the attacker simply walks up to a woman’s car while she’s at a traffic light and jumps in with his gun or knife drawn. 4. Opening your front door when you have not positively identified who is there. If you don’t have a peep hole, get one. I’ve seen countless cases where the attacker gains access to his victims simply by knocking on their door. Don’t let an attacker get into your home. He then has a private, relatively soundproof place to attack you.
4. Not being alert in parking lots. If you go to the grocery store at night, don’t be shy about asking for an escort to your car. Too many women are abducted from parking lots or even raped in the parking lot. Look in your back seat before entering your car. Cars provide endless hiding places for attackers, both inside them and in between them. Be aware of your surroundings by looking to the left and right and behind you with your head up all the time. You may appear paranoid and look funny to others, but an attacker will think twice about approaching someone who appears so aware of what’s going on.
5. Trusting a clean cut, honest looking stranger. I see mug shots of every sex offender in the state of Florida. They do not look like monsters. They often look like they could be your friendly grocer. They are every age between 15 and 90, and probably beyond. Only a small minority actually look scary. I just read a case yesterday of a man with only one leg who beat up his victim with his crutch before he raped her. Who would have ever thought that a one legged man would be a rapist?
6. Trusting people to be alone with your children. This is a difficult one, because child molesters end up being the LAST person the parents would believe is the molester. Most of the child molesting cases I see involve the stepfather, the uncle, the sister’s boyfriend, the mother’s boyfriend, the grandfather, the baby-sitter, the neighbor, the family friend, the youth camp director, day care worker, etc. Although rare, even women can be molesters. In every case, the perpetrator is a nice guy, trusting, good with children, and the family is baffled or even in disbelief that the person could be abusing their child. When it comes to your children and grandchildren, be suspicious of everyone, no matter who they are. And pay attention to what your child says and how he/she reacts to the mention of different people in their lives.
7. When having your car serviced, give the attendant only the car keys, as they have key duplicators readily available, and they generally have your address, etc. on file. I didn’t mean to make anyone uncomfortable with this, but I am at work right now reviewing files, and realized that this email is a way I can reach many women at one time. I have the dirty job of reading all these files, and it makes me feel good to know that I can share some inferences from what I have learned. This is not an exhaustive list of what not to do, but just some things that I have observed more than just a few times.

950,000 Volt Stun Gun – When The Bastard gives you no Choice

The Pretender 950,000 Volt Cell Phone Stun Gun - When The Bastard gives you no Choice

This story is one that makes me want to really hurt this Bastard. For really no reason at all this jerk was way out of line. No as I see it how nice would it have been for Christina to take out a 950,000 Volt Cell Phone Stun Gun and Zap this bastard.

THE PRETENDER 950,000 volt CELL PHONE STUN GUN

THE PRETENDER 950,000 volt CELL PHONE STUN GUN

“I just went inside for a slice of pizza. I don’t even know the guy. He just came out of the blue and beat the crap out of me.”

While Christine and a friend wanted to have a slice of pizza in a Brooklyn pizza palor. A guy wanted to change their lives for no reason at all.

This guy started saying things to them, when asked to leave them alone he started cursing at them. As the two women started to leave this bastard began throwing punches with a lot of anger.

When the women asked why he said because “I’m Albanian I can do whatever the f— I want to”

That would be enough for me, mind you this took place at 3:50 AM. not that it makes it any different but if your out that late you should have something to protect yourself with this is New York.

The friend did try to call 911 but he hit her and fractured her jaw.

Why who knows what his problem is but the good news it that they caught him, and you guessed it not the first time he was arrested and not the smartest guy, he paid by credit card so it was easy to find him.

This women was taken to the hospital and treated for “bruising and substantial pain to both eyes as well as blindness in [the] left eye,” lucky for her the vision has returned but not without the thought of several surgeries.

For every woman living in NY, or any other place this can happen anywhere. Don’t wait to be the next victim, protect yourself today.

Until tomorrow Stay Safe & Secure
