Personal Weapon – Stun Gun Pepper Spray For Women

Pepper Spray is a tried and true personal weapon for most women. Unfortunately it often ends up at the bottom of a purse where it does you little good when you need it. If you have never owned or used a Pepper Spray gun before buy one. Actually, buy three or four or even six of them. Go out in the woods somewhere and pick a target – like a tree. Spray paint a white spot about five and a half to six feet high up on the trunk – about where an attacker’s face might be.

Now, pretend you’re being attacked. Whip out the pepper spray, aim and fire. How close must you be to get
a direct hit? Did any of the spray come back at you? You bet it did. But now that you know how blowback feels you won’t freak out when it happens for real! Empty the canister at the tree. Notice you don’t get an unlimited amount of spray. Like any good weapon the purpose of the pepper spray is not to disable your attacker.

Selfdefenseis all about giving you precious time to get away. Knowing what the capabilities and limits of a tiny spray canister are is important. You’re not spraying on cologne here.
You want to unload all the spray you can on your attacker in order to be able to get away from him.
Be aware that about 12-20 % of all people are not affected by Pepper Spray. Even with a full shot in the face they’ll keep on coming. You have to have an alternative in case the spray doesn’t work, or the attacker isn’t affected by it.

Those options include:
Stun Guns Tasers Knives Keys
Cameras Alarms Pens Pepper Spray
Stun Guns
Stun guns come in all sizes. Some are small, can be carried in one
hand and are almost unnoticeable in your hand. Others, like the one
in the photo to the right are large.
Stun guns come in a variety of voltages too, from 350,000;
650,000 and 950,000 volts. They work by simply disrupting the
body’s electrical system.

Women Personal Safety & Self Awareness Products

Women Personal Safety & Self Awareness Products

Everything we do, from walking, talking eating or thinking involves
our body’s electrical system firing to tell our muscles to move.
When the system is disrupted by an application of outside electricity -
like the voltage from a stun gun or taser, a person can become incapacitated and unable to move.

The effectiveness of the stun gun varies depending on the particular gun model, the attacker’s body size and
his determination to keep attacking. How long you are able to hold the gun on the attacker matters too. With
this weapon you have to be able to reach out and touch the person, so it’s possible for the attacker to take it away from you if he sees it coming. He can then use it on you! So don’t flash it around. Keep it concealed in your hand until you are in a position to use it.

Typically, if you use the gun for half a second, he’ll experience a painful jolt that will most likely startle
him. Zap him for one or two seconds, he should experience muscle spasms and become dazed. And if you zap
him for more than three seconds, he will become unbalanced and disoriented and may lose muscle control.
Some determined attackers who possess a certain physiology may keep coming despite any shock.
Although they’re often compared to a cattle prod, cattle prods only cause pain and are not designed to incapacitate a person. A stun gun is a non-lethal way of overloading an attacker’s system so you can escape without
harming the attacker.

Rape isn’t the Only Crime Against Women

BATTERING. Rape isn’t the only crime against women. Being beaten, kicked, hit,
slapped, gouged and thrown, pushed or assaulted is even more common.

Women in Distressed State Domestic Violence

Women in Distressed State Domestic Violence

In 2001 domestic violence made up 20 percent of the statistics of violent crime
against women. It wasn’t just women being killed. That same year domestic partners
committed three percent of all violent crimes against men.
Although only 572,000 reports of assault by a husband or boyfriend or former
intimate partner are officially reported to federal officials each year the numbers of
assaults on women is nearly quadruple that. Even the most conservative estimates by law
enforcement officials’ show two to four million women of all races and classes are
battered every year.
At least 170,000 of those beatings are serious enough to require hospitalization,
emergency room care or a doctor’s attention. You don’t have to be poor, ignorant or black
to be a victim. Many battering victims are the wives of doctors, lawyers and police
officers.

Thanks and please let me know what your think good or bad I really want your feedback.

A National Problem

Every two minutes in the United States a woman is assaulted. One out of three

women and one out of seven men will be raped in their lifetime.

Even if the victim of an assault isn’t raped, chances are even better they will be

beaten, hit, kicked, shoved, punched, pushed or robbed. Literally millions of women and

men are victims of assault or crime every year. Many of them die.

By the time you go to bed this evening, four women will have died. And four more

will die the next day and the next, every day of the year. That’s how many women die in

this country every year as a result of violence.

Scary stuff huh? If you’re a woman chances are you’ve received at least one email

this month regarding ways to protect yourself, ads for security devices or information or

news about someone who was assaulted. You may have been a victim of an assault in the

past or know someone who has been.

Personal safety is very much a national problem. It’s not just fear mongering by

the media or by those businesses that want to sell security alarms. Knowing how

to be safe and stay safe is as important as knowing how to do your job well or how to

drive or use a telephone. Personal safety is or should be a part of your everyday life. It

doesn’t have to be scary. It doesn’t have to be a big deal. But it does have to be a part of

your life.

Know that you are not alone in your concerns or even your fears. But know too that

simply knowing the basics about staying safe can make a big difference in how you stay

safe and how you secure you feel. This short report can get you started, but don’t limit

yourself to just these safety tips. Share them with other women, talk about your

experiences and share what you know. Not only will you learn by sharing, so will other

women. With more women more active, running, jogging, biking and being outside at

early and late times of the day, there’s more exposure to the possibility of assault or

attack.

As gas prices continue to soar more women will be using public transportation,

walking or using alternative methods to get to work – such as bicycles or motorcycles.

Each of those methods also means more exposure to potential attack. As the economy

gets worse more women will be working longer hours, maybe working two jobs and

often traveling more between those jobs and home. The more time you spend alone, in

public the more exposed you are to a purse snatching, assault, robbery, theft, rape and

crime. If you are prepared mentally, emotionally and physically however, you can reduce

your risk and enjoy the time and freedom you have to move around your world!

Prevent Car Theft and Vandalism

*Alarms
*Steering Wheel Locks
*Tracking Devices
*Decals on windows
*Blinking lights on dashboard

Cyber Eye Digital Surveillance Camera

Cyber Eye Digital Surveillance Camera

No matter how many times it is said we all do it, leave something on the front seat that is of value. You say it’s ok, I just have to run in for a second” nothing will happen. And then you walk out and you car window is smashed.

The first thing you think of is ” I thought of putting it in the trunk” but I was in a hurry.

* Rule #1 being in a hurry could cost you about $1000.00 could you afford that, even if you could that is an expensive lesson.

Car Alarms have blinking lights to let you know that the alarm has been set. You see it all the time on the dashboard. This is to indicate the alarm in the car is working. But what if you have an older car?

No problem you can go the store and buy a blinking red light for about five dollars. A car thief will think twice before he tries to enter the car. You can also buy a sticker for your car just to let them think the alarm is on.

How many times have you heard that the guy down the street was broken into last night in his own driveway. Hey it happened to me 2 weeks ago someone went through the whole neighborhood and broke into all cars in the driveway.

You can also install a Cyber Eye on your dashboard, while it takes photos 1-60 second intervals when movement is around even in the dark. The cost of about $250.00 could save your car from vandalism and have photos to prove it.

Your sound asleep, thrives are not as smart as they used to be times are getting tough, the reports says one in 100 in the United States are behind bars. At least they get a good night sleep, so should you.

Reasons You may Want to Carry Non Lethal Pepper Spray

REASONS TO CARRY A PEPPER SPRAY OR STUN GUN

Personal Protection in a Compact lipstick case

Personal Protection in a Compact lipstick case

These are not in any particular order, however, there are several reasons why people should have some sort of protection with them, and I am assuming that many people do not own or carry a handgun.

There are more petty thefts and crimes because of the bad economy and some people are merely trying to steal a wallet or purse, without harming anybody. Why let them get your wallet though? It is a PAIN to replace your driver’s license, no matter where you live!

When a person, especially a woman, is walking alone, she is often a target for a crime such as a wallet snatching or even worse! Don’t BE a victim; defend yourself from the punks of this world!

Some people go jogging or walking a dog after dark, and let’s face it…there is always more crime after the sun sets. It is easier to hide, not be seen clearly, not be identified, and the crooks like the nighttime.

Whenever you go near a bank ATM whether during the day or night, there is always the chance that a thug will pop out and try to grab your cash and run. Why should HE get to have your hard earned money? Spray the living daylights out of him, and it will also teach him a lesson.

IF more Americans would carry one of these two great self defense items, you would hear more stories in the news about a citizen thwarting the near attack, and then as more of these stories would arise, crime would slowly start to decrease. IF you were a criminal, or someone contemplating it, would you be a bit apprehensive about getting shocked with 500,000 volts of electricity? It hurts!

Sometimes when driving, a car breaks down, and sometimes at night and/or on a desolate road. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some personal protection with you in the car until help arrives?

You could be driving and be stopped at a stop light at an intersection in an area where you don’t normally get out of the car, and a thug could walk up and tap the window, break the window, or reach through the open window, but if you have a stun gun and give him a “what for!” he won’t be able to do anything but just fall down and lie there for a few minutes. Meanwhile, when the light turns green, YOU will be getting the heck out of there.

You might have a loved one or friend walk into a convenience store while you wait in the car, and when they come out someone approaches them with bad intentions on their mind. Well, you can hop out of the car, run over, and change his mind for him! Wouldn’t that be interesting?

You never know when you could be walking and come upon a situation where someone else, as in a perfect stranger, needs assistance. IF you saw a couple of teenage hoodlums trying to rob an elderly lady, wouldn’t you like to pepper spray the snot out of them? It would be fun, and YOU would be the hero!

Many people don’t have personal protection items at their disposal but more and more people are beginning to obtain and carry them, and the time has come for you to do the same! Life is good, and it is precious, and sometimes needs to be protected!
