Dogs have always been a great protection for any homeowner. If you live alone, consider getting a dog. A big dog with a deep growl and a natural sense of protection is good. You don’t need a trained killer. A lab or other large breed can be as good a deterrent as a rottweiler. If the only dog you can have is an ankle biter or small breed, get one.
Their barking cannot only bring a lot of attention to you but smaller breeds can have a vicious bite as well.
