Its a proven fact that women live longer then men, whether you are a widow or because of a divorce the chance of you living alone is very good possible. Their are many ways for you to stay safe on a budget.
Burglar alarms can be costly so how can you protect yourself without spending you savings?

*Window alarms – the cost is about ten dollars, place only on the windows downstairs or just in the back of your home, look for the windows that are on the side or back where their is no light. When their is a vibrations or a broken glass the alarm will go off before they get into your home. be careful you may forget to turn it off when you open the window.
* Get a sign made that is posted on your windows that you have a security system. No one has to know your don’t but it will deter some burglars.
*Criminals hate Dogs you really don’t have to have a dog they now have alarms that bark when someone comes close to your home.
*Always look your windows burglars look for this. You take the time to look your front door but the bedroom window is opened.

* Car alarms and pepper spray by your bed at all times. Your car came with a remote control with a panic alarm. Use it at night if you here something outside. Make sure it is in a safe place next to your bed and when the kids are around keep in your draw.
